How it Works
Creating a calm, organised home doesn’t have to be stressful. Here’s how I work with you to make it simple, practical, and tailored to your lifestyle.

Talking through your goals
We’ll start by talking through your goals and vision for the space.
What’s working for you now, and what isn’t
Your lifestyle and priorities
Any areas that feel overwhelming
If you're feeling completely overwhelmed I can start on my own initiative and bring ideas to you. We can work together or I can work independently — whatever feels most comfortable. You are always in control, and I will always check with you before anything is removed.

Declutter
After we’ve talked through your goals and vision, we can tackle decluttering — if it’s needed. This means deciding what to keep, what to let go of, and what can be recycled or donated.
I guide you through gentle, practical decision making
You always have the final say — nothing is removed without your approval
Many clients find this step surprisingly freeing, even if they don’t have much to declutter
Clients often tell me that decluttering feels easier and less overwhelming with support, rather than trying to do it alone
If your space doesn’t need decluttering, we can focus directly on organising — creating systems that make your home functional, calm, and easy to maintain.
Decluttering is about making space for the things you love, not forcing you to get rid of everything.

Once the space is ready, we create systems that work specifically for you:
Smart storage solutions using what you already have, or sourcing new options if needed
Room and furniture layouts that make daily life easier
Organisation that feels natural and sustainable
Light “reset” touches where needed — wiping surfaces or a quick hoover — so your space feels fresh and ready to use
Whether you just want better systems or need help tackling built-up clutter, I tailor every project to your needs.
Organise
Recycling & Charity Drop offs
I can help you responsibly let go of unwanted items:
Suggest recycling and charity options
Take a load at the end of the day for donation or repurposing
Ensure your items are handled responsibly
This step helps you feel good about letting go, knowing your items are going to a positive use.
To make sure your space stays functional, I provide a personalised handbook:
Maps of where things belong
Systems for keeping everything running smoothly
Simple habits and tips for maintaining a calm, organised home
This helps you enjoy your new space long-term, without stress or constant upkeep.
Handbook
As part of the organising process, I carry out light “reset” cleaning where it makes a real difference — such as wiping shelves and drawers once they’re cleared, and a quick hoover after items have been moved.
This is designed to leave your space feeling fresh and finished, without taking time away from the organising itself. It’s not a full cleaning service.
For projects that would benefit from a deeper or more thorough clean, I’m happy to recommend or coordinate with a trusted professional cleaner I work with.

Projects
A look at some of the spaces I've helped transform

Craft area
This project was for an arts and crafts area in a large family home with lots of kids and adults using this space on a regular basis. They needed a little extra storage which I sourced for them, taking into account their colour scheme, the size of the shelves, and what needed to be accessible.
Now the space is clearly laid out, categorised and labelled so that everyone knows where everything is and where to put it back! Such a well used space will still get messy, but it's a lot easier to put straight again as everything has a home.

Sewing studio
My very creative client had become overwhelmed by her sewing studio and didn’t know where to start with organising it. We began by clearing the floor together so I could understand what needed to be kept and what could be let go of, before I continued independently with the rest of the project.
There was actually very little to discard — aside from fabric scraps — but the space needed thoughtful organisation so that everything had a clear home and was stored in a way that supported how she works. I reorganised supplies, making better use of the storage she already owned, and adjusted the layout of the room to improve workflow.
One of her ongoing challenges was fabric scraps, which had been steadily building up, so I also researched options for selling or donating them to help keep the space under control long term. As part of the redesign, I created a dedicated area where her customers could comfortably come in and try on clothes.
This was a fun and very satisfying project, and the result was a calm, functional studio that truly supports her creativity.

Linen cupboard
This was a quick project focusing on a linen cupboard that lacked a clear system and had become a bit of a miscellaneous dumping ground. We removed items that were worn out or no longer used, then categorised the remaining contents and reorganised the shelves so the most frequently used items were easy to access at the front.
To finish, I added subtle transparent labels to help maintain the system and make it easy for everyone in the household to keep the cupboard organised long term.
